Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 6th, 2026 Last Updated: September 6th, 2026 This Privacy Policy explains how Castle Rock Insurance LLC (“Castle Rock Insurance,” “CRI,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, retains and protects personal information when you visit castlerockinsurance.com (the “Website”), request insurance assistance, provide documents, communicate with us or otherwise interact with our services.

Castle Rock Insurance LLC

Castle Rock Insurance LLC is a licensed independent Colorado insurance agency operating under Colorado Agency License #935334. Founded in 2014, Castle Rock Insurance serves individuals, families, property owners and businesses throughout Colorado with personal, commercial and specialty insurance needs. The owner of Castle Rock Insurance LLC is a licensed Colorado Resident Insurance Producer under Producer License #928992 and National Producer Number (NPN) #22090882. The owner’s individual producer license is separate from Castle Rock Insurance LLC’s business-entity agency license. Castle Rock Insurance is an insurance agency and brokerage, not an insurance company. Insurance companies independently determine underwriting eligibility, premiums, policy terms, coverage availability and claims decisions. Additional information about Castle Rock Insurance, our licensing and how we assist Colorado consumers is available on our About Castle Rock Insurance page.

Our Privacy Commitment

Castle Rock Insurance respects the privacy of consumers who visit our Website or request insurance assistance. We collect and use personal information for legitimate insurance, business, security and regulatory purposes and seek to limit the information we collect and disclose to what is reasonably appropriate for those purposes. Our goal is to use personal information responsibly while helping consumers obtain insurance assistance. When another licensed insurance professional is appropriate for a request, Castle Rock Insurance generally selects one carefully chosen Insurance Partner to assist the client rather than distributing the request among multiple unrelated retail insurance agents or agencies.

Our Independent Insurance Partner Model

Castle Rock Insurance may work with carefully selected Colorado-licensed insurance agents, producers, brokers and agencies (“Insurance Partners”) when their experience, carrier relationships or market access are well suited to a client’s insurance needs. When Castle Rock Insurance selects an Insurance Partner to assist with an insurance request, that request is generally assigned exclusively to the selected partner. Castle Rock Insurance does not routinely distribute a consumer’s insurance request or contact information among multiple unrelated retail insurance agents or agencies. In limited circumstances, Castle Rock Insurance may select a different Insurance Partner if the originally selected partner is unable to establish contact with the client, cannot assist with the requested insurance, lacks appropriate market access or is otherwise unable to service the request. An Insurance Partner may present a risk to multiple insurance companies, wholesale brokers, managing general agencies, program administrators or specialty insurance markets when reasonably appropriate to seek insurance options. Presenting a risk to multiple insurance markets is different from distributing a consumer’s request among multiple unrelated retail insurance agents. Additional information about how Castle Rock Insurance works with licensed Insurance Partners is available in our Terms of Service and Frequently Asked Questions.

Castle Rock Insurance Is Independently Owned

Castle Rock Insurance LLC is independently owned and operated. Unless expressly disclosed otherwise, Castle Rock Insurance is not a subsidiary, parent company or commonly controlled corporate affiliate of an insurance company, Insurance Partner, wholesale broker, managing general agency, program administrator or other insurance organization referenced on this Website. Relationships with insurance companies, insurance markets and Insurance Partners do not imply common ownership or corporate affiliation. Insurance Partners are separately licensed professionals or businesses and are responsible for their own professional insurance services and their own legal and regulatory obligations.

Information We Collect

The information Castle Rock Insurance collects depends on how you interact with us and the type of insurance assistance requested. We seek to collect information reasonably relevant to evaluating, quoting, placing or servicing the requested insurance. Information may include:
  • Name, mailing address, email address and telephone number
  • Date of birth and other identifying information
  • Household members and drivers
  • Driver’s license information
  • Vehicle and property information
  • Mortgage and property-related information
  • Current and prior insurance information
  • Policy numbers, coverage limits and renewal dates
  • Claims and loss history
  • Business ownership and contact information
  • Business operations, industry, revenue, payroll and employee information
  • Commercial property, vehicle and exposure information
  • Insurance applications, declarations pages, photographs and other documents voluntarily provided to us
  • Other information reasonably relevant to the requested insurance coverage
The specific information required varies by insurance product, insurance company and underwriting circumstances. We do not intend to collect information that is unnecessary for the insurance or business purpose for which it is requested.

Information We Receive From Other Sources

Castle Rock Insurance may receive information from a consumer, an Insurance Partner, insurance company, wholesale broker, managing general agency, program administrator, service provider, insurance-industry information source or another organization involved in an insurance transaction. We may also use publicly available property, business or governmental information where reasonably relevant to an insurance request. Insurance companies and other authorized insurance-market participants may obtain additional information for underwriting purposes, including claims history, property information, driving information, consumer reports, insurance scores or credit-based insurance information where permitted by applicable law. Those organizations determine their own underwriting practices and are responsible for their use of such information.

Website and Device Information

When you visit the Website, Castle Rock Insurance and technology providers supporting the Website may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website or source, pages visited, approximate location derived from an IP address and information about interactions with Website features. We may use this information to operate and secure the Website, diagnose technical issues, understand Website usage, evaluate the effectiveness of our communications and marketing, and improve Website functionality and user experience. Much of Castle Rock Insurance’s educational Website content can be viewed without submitting an insurance request or voluntarily providing identifying insurance information.

How We Use Personal Information

Castle Rock Insurance may use personal information to:
  • Respond to insurance inquiries and requests
  • Understand the type of insurance assistance requested
  • Evaluate insurance needs and relevant risk characteristics
  • Identify appropriate insurance resources and markets
  • Communicate with consumers about their insurance requests
  • Obtain or coordinate insurance quotations
  • Assist with applications and insurance placement
  • Support policy and insurance-related services
  • Maintain appropriate insurance and business records
  • Operate, secure and improve our Website and business systems
  • Prevent fraud, misuse and security incidents
  • Resolve questions, complaints and disputes
  • Comply with applicable legal, regulatory and insurance requirements
We may also use information for another purpose when you authorize that use or when the use is otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.

How We Share Information for Insurance Purposes

When reasonably necessary to evaluate, quote, place or service requested insurance, Castle Rock Insurance may disclose relevant information to the selected Insurance Partner and to insurance companies, wholesale brokers, managing general agencies, program administrators and other insurance-market participants involved in the transaction. These disclosures may be necessary to evaluate eligibility, obtain quotations, underwrite a risk, prepare an insurance application, place coverage or provide insurance-related services. When partner assistance is appropriate, Castle Rock Insurance generally selects one retail Insurance Partner rather than distributing the consumer’s insurance request among multiple unrelated retail insurance agents or agencies. If the selected Insurance Partner is unable to establish contact, cannot assist with the requested insurance or is otherwise unable to service the request, Castle Rock Insurance may select another appropriately licensed Insurance Partner.

We Do Not Sell Insurance Requests for Unrelated Solicitation

Castle Rock Insurance does not sell or distribute consumer insurance-request information to unrelated businesses so that those businesses can independently solicit consumers for unrelated products or services. Information provided to a selected Insurance Partner or another insurance-market participant in connection with evaluating, quoting, placing or servicing requested insurance is provided for an insurance-related purpose. Nothing in this section is intended to characterize a particular disclosure under a specialized statutory definition of “sale.” Where applicable law defines that term differently, the applicable legal definition controls.

Service Providers

Castle Rock Insurance may use service providers to support Website hosting, communications, customer relationship management, telephone systems, document processing, analytics, cybersecurity, information storage, automation, scheduling and other legitimate business functions. Service providers may receive or process information reasonably necessary to perform services on behalf of Castle Rock Insurance. A technology, administrative or infrastructure provider does not become an Insurance Partner merely because it processes information for CRI. Where required by applicable law or contractual obligations, Castle Rock Insurance takes appropriate steps concerning the handling and protection of information by service providers.

Artificial Intelligence and Automated Technology

Castle Rock Insurance may use artificial intelligence, automated telephone technology, chat systems, transcription services, document-processing tools and workflow automation to assist with insurance intake, communications, scheduling, document processing, routing and administrative functions. These systems may process information a consumer provides to Castle Rock Insurance when reasonably necessary to perform those functions. Castle Rock Insurance’s automated intake and administrative systems do not independently bind insurance coverage, issue insurance policies, approve insurance applications or make insurance-company underwriting decisions. Individualized insurance services and coverage placement are handled by appropriately licensed insurance professionals, while insurance companies remain responsible for their own underwriting and pricing decisions. Additional information about the role of automated technology is available in our Terms of Service.

Telephone, Email and Text Communications

If you provide an email address or telephone number in connection with an insurance request, Castle Rock Insurance and, when appropriate, the selected Insurance Partner may use that information to communicate with you about the requested insurance services. Communications may include telephone calls, voicemail, email and other methods reasonably related to the insurance request. If you separately consent to SMS communications, message frequency may vary and message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing insurance. Where applicable, you may opt out of text communications by replying STOP or using another provided opt-out method.

Cookies, Analytics and Similar Technologies

The Website may use cookies, analytics technologies and similar tools to operate Website features, maintain security, remember preferences, understand visitor activity, measure Website and marketing performance and improve the Website. Browser and device settings may allow you to block or limit certain cookies. Disabling some technologies may affect Website functionality. Where applicable law requires Castle Rock Insurance to honor a recognized browser-based privacy preference or universal opt-out mechanism, we will process qualifying signals as required by applicable law.

Financial Privacy and Other Applicable Privacy Laws

Insurance transactions may be subject to federal and state financial-services, insurance, consumer-reporting, data-security and privacy laws. Depending on the relationship and information involved, Castle Rock Insurance may provide additional privacy notices, disclosures or choices required by applicable law. This Website Privacy Policy is intended to explain Castle Rock Insurance’s general privacy practices. It is not intended to replace any separate financial-privacy notice or other disclosure that applicable law may require for a particular consumer, customer, insurance product or transaction. If a separate legally required privacy notice applies to a particular relationship or category of information, that notice should be read together with this Privacy Policy.

Legal, Regulatory and Security Disclosures

Castle Rock Insurance may retain, use or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, insurance regulations, subpoenas, court orders, regulatory inquiries or other lawful processes. Information may also be used or disclosed when reasonably necessary to investigate or prevent suspected fraud, misuse or security incidents; protect Castle Rock Insurance systems, rights or property; protect the safety or rights of others; enforce applicable agreements; or establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

Data Security

Castle Rock Insurance uses administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, acquisition, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction. Security practices are designed to reflect the nature of the information and the legitimate insurance and business purposes for which it is maintained. Access to personal information is intended to be limited to individuals, service providers and insurance participants with a legitimate reason to access the information. No Internet transmission, electronic communication or information-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Consumers should avoid sending unnecessary highly sensitive information through ordinary unsecured email or similar communications. If a security incident involving personal information occurs, Castle Rock Insurance will provide notifications required by applicable law.

Data Retention

Castle Rock Insurance retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the insurance, business or other purpose for which it was collected and as appropriate to satisfy legal, regulatory, contractual, security, fraud-prevention, recordkeeping and dispute-resolution requirements. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information, whether insurance was quoted or placed, applicable regulatory requirements and the nature of the consumer relationship. When information is no longer reasonably necessary and no applicable requirement or legitimate recordkeeping purpose supports continued retention, Castle Rock Insurance may delete, destroy, de-identify or otherwise dispose of the information using methods appropriate to the nature of the records.

Privacy Requests

You may contact Castle Rock Insurance to request access to, correction of, deletion of or de-identification of personal information maintained in CRI-controlled systems. Privacy requests may be submitted by email to [info@castlerockinsurance.com](mailto:info@castlerockinsurance.com). Please provide enough information for us to reasonably identify the applicable records and verify the identity and authority of the person making the request. Castle Rock Insurance will respond to qualifying privacy requests as required by applicable law and may honor other reasonable requests when practicable. Certain information may need to be retained because of insurance transactions, legal or regulatory requirements, fraud prevention, security, contractual obligations, dispute resolution or legitimate business recordkeeping. Accordingly, a deletion request does not necessarily require deletion of every record associated with an individual.

Information Maintained by Insurance Partners and Other Organizations

A privacy request submitted to Castle Rock Insurance applies to information controlled by CRI. Insurance companies, independently operated Insurance Partners, wholesale brokers, managing general agencies, program administrators, consumer reporting agencies and other organizations may maintain information in their own systems and may have independent legal or regulatory obligations concerning those records. Castle Rock Insurance cannot alter or delete information independently controlled by another organization. Consumers may need to contact that organization directly regarding information under its control.

Your Rights Under Applicable Law

Privacy rights vary depending on the consumer, information, purpose of processing and law governing the information. Applicable federal and state insurance, financial-services, consumer-reporting, privacy and data-security laws may provide particular rights or protections. Where applicable law gives you a right to access, correct, delete, obtain or restrict the use or disclosure of personal information, Castle Rock Insurance will process qualifying verified requests in accordance with that law. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit a consumer right or legal protection that cannot lawfully be waived.

Information About Other People

If you provide Castle Rock Insurance with information about another person, including a spouse, household member, driver, employee, business owner, officer or additional insured, you represent that you have a legitimate insurance-related reason and appropriate authority to provide that information. Please avoid providing information about another person that is not reasonably necessary for the insurance request.

Information Concerning Minors

The Website is intended for adults seeking insurance information or services and is not directed to children. A parent, guardian, policyholder, business representative or other authorized person may provide information concerning a minor when reasonably necessary for a legitimate insurance transaction, such as identifying a household member or driver. Castle Rock Insurance does not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children through the Website for independent marketing purposes.

Third-Party Websites and Independent Organizations

The Website may contain links to insurance companies, governmental agencies, Insurance Partners and other independently operated websites. Castle Rock Insurance does not control the privacy, security or data-handling practices of independently operated organizations. Information submitted directly to another organization is subject to that organization’s privacy practices and applicable legal obligations. Consumers should review applicable privacy notices before providing information directly to an independently operated third party.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Castle Rock Insurance may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, insurance relationships, information practices or applicable legal requirements. The Effective Date and Last Updated date displayed at the beginning of this page identify the current version. Material changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise. Changes to this Privacy Policy do not alter the terms of an existing insurance policy.
