Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 26, 2026

Last Updated: August 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Castle Rock Insurance LLC (“Castle Rock Insurance,” “CRI,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, retains and protects personal information when you visit castlerockinsurance.com (the “Website”), request insurance assistance, provide documents, communicate with us or otherwise interact with our services.

Castle Rock Insurance LLC

Castle Rock Insurance LLC is a Colorado-licensed insurance agency operating under Colorado Agency License #935334. Castle Rock Insurance serves individuals, families, property owners and businesses throughout Colorado. Castle Rock Insurance is an insurance agency and is not an insurance company or insurance carrier.

The owner of Castle Rock Insurance LLC is a licensed Colorado Resident Insurance Producer under Producer License #928992 and National Producer Number (NPN) #22090882. The individual producer license is separate from Castle Rock Insurance LLC’s business-entity agency license. Additional information about our agency and operating model is available on the About Castle Rock Insurance page.

Our Privacy Commitment

Castle Rock Insurance respects the privacy of consumers who request insurance assistance. Personal information is used for legitimate insurance, business, security and regulatory purposes, and we seek to limit its disclosure to what is reasonably necessary to provide or support requested insurance services.

Castle Rock Insurance does not operate as a mass insurance lead-generation service that sells or indiscriminately distributes the same consumer request to multiple unrelated retail insurance agencies. When another licensed insurance professional is appropriate for a request, CRI assigns the request to one selected retail insurance agent or agency at a time.

Our Relationships With Other Colorado Insurance Agents

Castle Rock Insurance maintains selected direct relationships with licensed Colorado insurance agents, agencies, brokers and specialty insurance professionals that can provide carrier access or expertise appropriate for particular insurance risks. Depending on the coverage requested, Castle Rock Insurance may assist directly or assign the request to one selected licensed insurance professional or agency (an “Insurance Partner”).

Only one retail Insurance Partner is assigned to an insurance request at a time. CRI does not simultaneously distribute the same request to multiple unrelated retail insurance agents for competing solicitation. The assigned Insurance Partner may submit the risk to multiple insurance companies, wholesale brokers, managing general agencies, program administrators or other insurance markets when reasonably necessary to seek insurance options. Additional information about this process is available in our Frequently Asked Questions.

Castle Rock Insurance Is Independently Owned

Castle Rock Insurance LLC is independently owned and operated. Unless expressly disclosed otherwise, Castle Rock Insurance is not a subsidiary, parent company, commonly owned company or corporate affiliate of an insurance carrier, Insurance Partner, wholesale broker, managing general agency, program administrator or other insurance organization referenced on this Website.

References to or relationships with insurance carriers and Insurance Partners do not imply common ownership or corporate affiliation. Insurance companies independently control their underwriting, pricing, eligibility, policy terms and claims decisions.

Information We Collect

The information Castle Rock Insurance collects depends on the type of insurance requested and what is reasonably necessary to evaluate, quote, place or service that request. Information may include your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, date of birth and other identifying or contact information.

For personal insurance requests, information may include household members, drivers, vehicles, properties, mortgage information, current insurance, coverage limits, claims history, insurance history, renewal dates and other information relevant to insurance underwriting or quotations.

For commercial insurance requests, information may include business names and addresses, ownership and contact information, business operations, industry, revenue, payroll, employee information, property information, vehicles, loss history, current insurance and other information relevant to the requested commercial insurance coverage.

When reasonably necessary for an insurance transaction, we may also collect driver’s license information, policy numbers, declarations pages, applications, photographs, documents voluntarily provided to us and other information needed to evaluate or process an insurance request.

Information We May Receive From Other Sources

Castle Rock Insurance may receive information from Insurance Partners, insurance companies, wholesale brokers, managing general agencies, program administrators, insurance-industry information sources, publicly available property or business records and other sources involved in an insurance transaction or authorized by the consumer.

Insurance companies and other insurance-market participants may independently obtain information for underwriting purposes, including claims history, property information, driving information, consumer reports, insurance scores or credit-based insurance information where permitted by applicable law. Those organizations independently determine how such information is used in their underwriting processes.

Website and Device Information

When you visit the Website, Castle Rock Insurance or its technology providers may receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring source, pages visited, approximate location derived from an IP address and information about Website interactions.

This information may be used to operate and secure the Website, diagnose technical problems, understand Website traffic, measure marketing performance and improve Website functionality and user experience.

How We Use Personal Information

Castle Rock Insurance may use personal information to respond to insurance requests, understand requested coverage, evaluate insurance needs, identify appropriate insurance resources, communicate with consumers, obtain or coordinate quotations, assist with insurance placement and support insurance-related services.

Information may also be used to operate and improve our Website and business processes, maintain transaction and business records, prevent fraud and misuse, protect information security, evaluate service performance, resolve disputes and comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

How We Share Information for Insurance Purposes

When reasonably necessary to evaluate, quote, place or service insurance, Castle Rock Insurance may provide relevant information to the single Insurance Partner assigned to the request and to insurance companies, wholesale brokers, managing general agencies, program administrators or other insurance-market participants involved in the transaction.

Information shared with insurance-market participants is provided for legitimate insurance purposes such as evaluating eligibility, obtaining quotations, underwriting a risk, placing coverage or servicing an insurance transaction. Submission to multiple insurance markets does not mean CRI has distributed the consumer’s request to multiple competing retail insurance agents.

One Insurance Agent Is Assigned to Each Request

Castle Rock Insurance does not sell the same insurance request to multiple unrelated retail insurance agents for simultaneous solicitation. When an insurance request is handled through an Insurance Partner, one selected retail Insurance Partner is assigned to that request at a time.

This does not prevent Castle Rock Insurance or the assigned Insurance Partner from approaching multiple insurance companies or specialty insurance markets when doing so is appropriate to seek coverage options for the consumer.

We Do Not Sell Personal Information for Unrelated Solicitation

Castle Rock Insurance does not sell personal information or insurance-request information to unrelated businesses for their independent and unrelated solicitation of consumers. Information provided to an Insurance Partner or insurance-market participant for the purpose of evaluating, quoting, placing or servicing requested insurance is shared to facilitate the requested insurance transaction.

Service Providers

Castle Rock Insurance may use third-party service providers for Website hosting, communications, customer relationship management, call handling, document processing, analytics, information security, data storage, automation and other legitimate business functions.

Service providers may receive information reasonably necessary to perform services on behalf of Castle Rock Insurance. A technology or administrative service provider is not an Insurance Partner merely because it processes information for CRI.

Artificial Intelligence and Automated Technology

Castle Rock Insurance may use artificial intelligence, automated telephone technology, chat systems, transcription services, document-processing tools and workflow automation to assist with customer intake, communications, scheduling, document processing, routing and administrative functions.

Automated systems may process information provided to Castle Rock Insurance when reasonably necessary to perform these functions. Artificial intelligence used by CRI is not a licensed insurance producer and does not independently bind insurance coverage, issue policies, approve insurance applications or make insurance-company underwriting decisions.

Individualized insurance recommendations and coverage placement are handled by appropriately licensed insurance professionals. Additional information about our use of technology and insurance services is available in the Castle Rock Insurance Terms of Service.

Legal, Regulatory and Security Disclosures

Castle Rock Insurance may preserve, use or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, regulatory inquiry or other lawful process; investigate or prevent suspected fraud or misuse; protect information security; protect the rights or safety of Castle Rock Insurance or others; or establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

Telephone, Email and Text Communications

If you provide an email address or telephone number in connection with an insurance request, Castle Rock Insurance and the Insurance Partner assigned to the request may use that information to communicate with you about the requested insurance services.

If you separately consent to SMS communications, message frequency may vary and message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing insurance. Where applicable, you may opt out by replying STOP or using another provided opt-out method.

Cookies and Analytics

The Website may use cookies, analytics technologies and similar tools to operate Website features, maintain security, understand visitor activity, measure Website and marketing performance and improve the Website.

You may be able to limit or disable cookies through your browser or device settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Website functionality.

Data Security

Castle Rock Insurance maintains reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, acquisition, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Access to personal information is limited according to legitimate insurance and business needs.

No Internet transmission, electronic communication or information-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Consumers should avoid transmitting unnecessary highly sensitive information through ordinary unsecured email or similar communications.

Data Retention

Castle Rock Insurance retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and to satisfy legitimate insurance, business, security, fraud-prevention, legal and regulatory requirements. Retention periods can vary based on the nature of the information and the insurance transaction.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary and no applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, security, dispute-resolution or legitimate recordkeeping purpose requires its retention, Castle Rock Insurance may delete, destroy, de-identify or otherwise securely dispose of the information.

Requests to Remove Personal Information

You may submit a written request asking Castle Rock Insurance to delete or de-identify personal information associated with your identity from CRI-controlled databases by emailing info@castlerockinsurance.com. Please provide enough information for us to reasonably identify the applicable records and verify that the request is from you or an authorized representative.

After verifying a request, Castle Rock Insurance will delete or de-identify personal information from CRI-controlled systems when reasonably practicable, except for information that CRI is required or permitted to retain for an insurance transaction, legal or regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, legitimate business recordkeeping or another lawful purpose.

A request submitted to Castle Rock Insurance applies to information controlled by CRI. Insurance companies, independently operated Insurance Partners and other third parties may maintain separate records and may have independent legal or regulatory obligations concerning those records. Castle Rock Insurance cannot delete information independently controlled by another organization.

Access and Correction Requests

You may submit a written request to access or correct personal information maintained by Castle Rock Insurance where provided by applicable law or otherwise reasonably available. Castle Rock Insurance may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before providing, correcting or deleting personal information.

Written privacy requests may be submitted to info@castlerockinsurance.com. We may request additional information when reasonably necessary to verify the request, protect personal information or locate the applicable records.

Privacy Rights Under Applicable Law

Privacy rights can vary depending on the type of information, the purpose for which it is processed and the laws governing the information. Applicable federal and state insurance, financial-services, consumer-reporting and privacy laws may provide rights or impose requirements concerning particular categories of personal information.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to restrict a privacy or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived. Where applicable law provides additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, disclosure or use of personal information, Castle Rock Insurance will process qualifying verified requests as required by that law.

Information About Other People

If you provide information about another person, including a household member, driver, employee, business owner or additional insured, you represent that you have a legitimate insurance-related reason and appropriate authority to provide that information.

Children’s Privacy

The Website is not directed to children under 13, and Castle Rock Insurance does not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13 through the Website. A parent, guardian or other authorized person may provide information concerning a minor when reasonably necessary for a legitimate insurance transaction.

Third-Party Websites and Independent Organizations

The Website may link to insurance companies, governmental agencies, Insurance Partners and other independently operated websites. Castle Rock Insurance does not control the privacy, security or data-handling practices of independently operated organizations. Consumers should review the applicable privacy notices before providing information directly to those organizations.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Castle Rock Insurance may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, insurance relationships, privacy practices or applicable legal requirements. The effective date and last-updated date displayed at the beginning of this page identify the current version.

Material changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise. Changes to this Privacy Policy do not modify the terms of an existing insurance policy.
